Ukemi: Falling Techniques for Injury Prevention
Taking inspiration from martial arts, parkour, and gymnastics; this class will help develop the strength, techniques and spatial awareness in order to prevent injuries during falls.
Each class will be broken down into three parts:
Learning techniques and skills to minimize risk when falling.
Games and exercises to develop reflexes and spatial awareness.
Targeted conditioning to build strength required to absorb landing forces.
Class is $10 at the door by cash, e-transfer, credit or debit.
Class runs 7-8PM.
